My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were incredibly clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the facilities were top-notch. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making my experience even better. However, the room temperature was a bit too warm for my liking, and I couldn't find a way to cool it down. The dining experience was delightful, with a good selection of fresh and tasty options.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was a good size with a shower and separate bath, but lacked essential amenities like hand soap, bathrobe, and slippers. The view overlooking the garden next to the Town Hall was nice, but the water temperature in the shower was unpredictable, the kettle didn't work, and the TV signal kept cutting out.
The hotel had a good selection, are very aesthetically pleasing which led to a fantastic first impression and made the wait for the room much more bare-able, but infection control needs addressing. Lovely to be next door to the Winter Gardens, but some issues with standards and maintenance.
The hotel has a great location, perfect for shopping and dining out, and it's a lovely spot in the center of Sheffield. The rooms are extremely basic and bare, untouched since the hotel was built, with a troublesome smell from the drains in the bathroom. Staff can be attentive but may overlook guests due to limited staff numbers. The dining experience is passable but could use a small upgrade for the price paid. Unclear information on facilities availability and breakfast timings can be frustrating.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, with lovely and clean rooms featuring beautiful views of the peace gardens. The plug near the mirror was very convenient. The staff provided excellent customer care and useful advice, making my experience truly enjoyable. The location was a real selling point, right next to the Winter Gardens, with good spa facilities and close to the railway. However, the dining experience was a bit hit or miss with some overcooked bacon. Overall, a comfortable and friendly hotel with great value for money.
